Week 12
1 min readNov 29, 2020
This post covers the latest week (November 22–28).
I didn’t write a post last week, because I didn’t have anything to say. Here are some things I could write about:
- Feedback I’ve received from the cofounders of the startup I’m developing for.
- Ways I can make my code better, and an exploration of what ‘better’ means.
- Checklist of best practices/little things I forget to do.
- Collection of resources I’ve consulted as I develop.
- Sources of friction in learning/working.
- I’m working in a distributed team. Evaluation of pros vs cons of distributed teams; my own take on how it’s working out and overall rating — am I long or short in-person work?
- Things that I’d expected I’d learn/encounter that I haven’t.
- Things I hadn’t expected to learn/encounter.
- Ways in which I can add more value, to the startup and to readers.
- Biggest flaw in my writing so far, and potential fixes.
- Rating the difficulty of things I’ve learned so far. Why have the hard things been hard, and did they need to be? Why have the easiest things been easy?
- Lay out why I’m writing, if those aims are being fulfilled, will I continue, how to think about writing, how to answer such questions.
- Best things I’ve read recently.
